The Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery is a surgical procedure whose purpose is to eliminate excess skin and fat bags that accumulate with age, in the upper and lower eyelids, with which it is intended to recover the normal opening and appearance of the eyes without change its shape.
When there is excess skin or fat bags on the eyelids, a tired or sad face is observed. It is a surgery designed individually for each patient, depending on their particular needs.

It is performed under sedation and local anesthesia.
Days of Internment?
It is carried out on an outpatient basis, it is not necessary to remain hospitalized.
Recovery time?
It is recommended to place cold compresses on the eyes for the first 24 hours.
Bruising is normal for five to seven days after the operation.
Recovery is usually in 1 week.
